Dazu Rock Carvings · Visitor Experience

In 2022, we entered Dazu with responsibility for proposing a path to improve the overall visitor experience. The site offered expert interpretation, extraordinary art and abundant knowledge. Yet importance did not automatically become personal understanding.

The proposal asked how a visitor could move beyond dates and accepted descriptions toward the artistic and local transformation visible in the carvings.

The project did not end our enquiry. Repeated visits—and later encounters with related Buddhist imagery far from Chongqing—continued to sharpen the question. That longer realization belongs to a separate Auralize Story.

2022 年，我們以項目經理的角色進入大足，提出景區整體遊客體驗升級的具體路徑。專業講解、藝術成就與知識都在現場，重要性卻未必自然變成理解。

方案真正面對的，是如何讓人越過年代與標準答案，看見造像在這片土地上完成的藝術轉化。

項目之後，問題沒有消失。反覆回到大足，以及多年後在千里之外遇見相似佛教形象，讓理解繼續發生。那段更私人的認知，留在另一篇 Story 裡。
